Activities and Blossom's Bed and Breakfast

Staying at Blossom’s Bed and Breakfast allows you a multitude of options. Consider any or all of the following possibilities:

• Walk or bike across the foot bridge over the Clark Fork River to the University of Montana and explore the lovely campus and shop at the bookstore.

• Walk or bike along the River Trail on the south side of the Clark Fork River into downtown Missoula and its parks.

• Hike up the trail to Mt. Jumbo for great views of the whole city and stretch your legs while watching for wild elk. It's only a half block away!

• Take a stroll through nearby Greenough Park and check out Rattlesnake Creek. Walk along this pristine mountain stream to feel like you are miles back in the mountains.

• Sit in the garden, or on the front porch to enjoy the view of the charming historical neighborhood.

• Sample some of our wonderful local wines.

• Watch hang gliders and eagles soar over the mountains in our back yard as well as ducks and geese flying to the river just a couple of blocks away.

• Shop at a delightful variety of small specialty boutiques, art galleries, and large stores in downtown Missoula, only minutes away by foot or car.

• In the summer, head to the nearby Rattlesnake Wilderness for hiking and biking.

• Head for the water on and the Blackfoot, Clark Fork, and Bitterroot rivers. All offer white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.

• Entertain your friends and visit with other guests in our large living room, where you can play billiards or chat in front of the fireplace.

• Walk through the summertime Tuesday evening and Saturday morning Farmers Market, which offers locally grown organic fresh produce, and delicious baked goods, and wonderful crafts, including pottery, beadwork, furniture, metalwork, and more.

• Depending on the season, take your skis and snowboards - or your mountain bikes - to Snowbowl Ski and Summer Resort, less than 15 minutes away.

• Feast and celebrate to your heart's content at Missoula's many fine restaurants, bakeries, and pubs.

• Make an easy phone call to find river guides for fishing or white water raft trips, or set up a tour of the local winery and brew pubs. We are happy to assist you in making your visit to Missoula a memorable one.
